The Two Hand cork turning system is a set of commercial grade handle milling tools for shaping cork and composite handles on graphite, glass, and bamboo rod blanks. It includes two steady rest towers and a head stock collet system. The steady rest towers are designed to fit common woodworking lathes with a 10” diameter swing and any length bed extension. Typical models are the Grizzly T2596 or the Jet JWL-1015. The transport wheels use sealed R4A-2RS bearings rated for 30,000 rpm and 620lbs of dynamic load. The upright posts are fabricated from solid, 1/2“ diameter, 6061 aluminum. All hardware is stainless steel and brass. The head stock chuck & collet nut fit a 1”- 8 TPS spindle. The system includes three collets, a 3/8”, 1/2“, and a 5/8” internal diameter collet.
